The Alqaeda’s media wing Al Sahab,  released yesterday an audio recording and video footage of Al Shabaab’s leader Mukhtar abu al zubeyr AKA Ahmed godane, and Alqaeda’s leader Ayman Alzawahiri  respectively, with the former pledging allegiance to the latter. Al qaeda’s leader called on Al shabaab to treat the Somali’s with ” mercy and humility”.

Partial translation of “Shaykh Mukhtār Abū al-Zubayr’s” speech.

To  my dear emir and noble elder Ayman Al zawahiri may god preserve and protect him, from the soldier Mukhtar abu Zubeyr, our guided amir; i recognize the burden upon you is heavy, and the responsibility cumbersome, (thus) i urge you to equip yourself with patience against adversity , and make gratitude for blessings your reinforcement.

Our emir, rejoice for you have in Somalia soldiers, the fear god is their provision and support of his religion is their munitions, thus we reckon them be and God knows them well.

And they have entrusted me (to you) a message, contained within it,;

“our dear emir , from us to you is pure affection, pledge shrouded in loyalty, our hearts are of distinguished quality filled with sincere affection …… and shall march forth with you as loyal warriors, until massacres and injustices against Muslims are removed and “until there is no more Fitnah (disbelief and worshipping of others along with Allah) and (all and every kind of ) worship is for Allah (Alone).” (Quran 2:193)

“our dear emir, on behalf of my brothers at  Ḥarakat al-Shabāb al-Mujāhidīn’s commanders and soldiers i say; I pledge allegiance to you on Allah’s book (Quran) and Sunnah (tradition) of his messenger and to hear and obey you, in times of both eagerness and unwillingness, in ease and hardship even its against me, and that i shall not contest the authority of those in charge, unless i see  clear disbelief which we have proof from Allah according to my ability. Lead us on the path of jihad and martyrdom, upon the footsteps inscribed by our martyred Imam Usama (Bin Laden).”

Partial translation of Dr.Ayman al-Ẓawāhirī speech:

“…and the jihadi movement is growing and and expanding amongst the muslim ummah despite facing the fiercest crusader campaign in history, and i today bring forth our Muslim ummah,glad tidings that is joyful for the believers & suffocating for crusaders ,namely, the merger of Harakat al-Shabāb in Somalia into Jamaat Qaidat Al Jihad , in support of the jihadi agglomeration in the face of the crusader Zionist campaign and its agents of rulers and traitors who allowed invading crusader forces access into their countries,entering mounted on tanks into government palaces in kabul,baghdad, Mogadishu and grozny.”
